Error 7 File Already Exists When Attempting a Rebuild

Each time that TeleMagic performs an External Rebuild temp files are created. However, these files and not just temp files, as they do have a very important purpose. The files in question are Recovery.ini, Recovery.dbf & Recovery.fpt. When TeleMagic prepares to rebuild a file it typically creates a backup first (recovery.*). Therefore, if you encounter a situation where a crash occurs in the middle of a rebuild, then the backup copy of the Recovery.* files can be renamed back to the original file name and the rebuild can begin again. The recovery.ini contains information to identify what table was being rebuilt when the crash occurred. So, in addition to insufficient rights as the leading cause of Error 7, it can also occur due to a previous failed rebuild and existence of Recovery files.
