Setting
Initialization Strings for Individual Ports with Faxman.ini
Users
can now define their own specific modem initialization string
in the TMFAX.INI file. A sample TMFAX.INI file has been provided
with the new TMAUTSRV.EXE in the AUTSRV.ZIP file from the post
4.5 hot fix.
This
is a sample FAXMAN.INI:

This
file must be copied to the \TMFAX directory.
The
number next to the word INIT represents the port number.
FaxModemInit4
means Port #4
FaxModemInit12 means Port #12

are recommended initialization strings for some modems.
