DOS to Windows Upgrades

Any version of TeleMagic for DOS 12.3f or higher will upgrade to TeleMagic for Windows versions 3 or 4. After the upgrade is completed, you will want to either Import or Convert your data.

If you are upgrading to version 3, you can either import your data to an existing TeleMagic for Windows database or use the Conversion program called CONVERT.EXE found in the C:\TMWIN (or your global directory) folder. The Convert Utility will create a new database with your DOS field structure and data.

If upgrading to version 4, you will need to create your own database or use one of the sample databases that comes with TeleMagic. If you install the "Coolest DOS Database", it will be the closest match in field and screen structure to your DOS installation.
