What information is contained in the DBTYPES files and why are they so large?

Database Template Removal:

Located in the TeleMagic common directory are the files DBTYPES.DBF, DBTYPES.FPT, and DBTYPES.CDX. These files contain any database templates which have been added to the installation. Because templates can include records, the templates and therefore the DBTYPES files may be quite large. Once a database has been created from a template, it is not necessary to keep the template, unless you will need to create databases from it in the future. To remove a template, choose Select Database from the File menu, then click Add. Locate the template you wish to remove, highlight it and click Remove. Once the template is no longer in the list, run a rebuild with the Global option selected in order to pack the DBTYPES files. This will significantly reduce the size of these files.
