TM.INI Damaged Using Windows NT or 95 on the Server

If you receive a "version mismatch" error attempting to start TeleMagic, the TM.INI file may be damaged. To eliminate the error, restore the file from a recent backup. If there are consistent problems with this file, and you are running Windows NT or 95 on the server, you will need to download and install a Windows 95 patch from Microsoft.

The file VRDRUPD.EXE is available for download from the Microsoft FTP site at:

ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/mslfiles.

This program will copy the following files to your \windows\system directory:

VREDIR.VXD 6/2/97
VNETSUP.VXD 5/30/97

You will need to install the patch on each Windows 95 workstation that will be running TeleMagic over the network. The problem has been corrected in Windows 98.
