Copy the remaining 18 files to the \PROGRAMS folder of your TeleMagic installation.

This service pack adds the following:

WordPerfect 9 WordPerfect 9 is now supported.

Mail Icon When the e-mail icon next to a contact field is clicked, key field information will be entered in the TO: field of the new message as well as the contact's address. The Contact key field will be used, if defined. If a Contact key field is not defined, the Company key field will be used. If neither Contact nor Company key fields are defined, no key field information will be included. This feature works with other mail applications as well as TeleMagic Internet Mail.

This service pack corrects the following issues:

Issue: In TeleMagic Internet Mail Server Settings, the list of Account names in Dial Up Networking cannot be read when highlighted.
Resolution: This list is now displayed as are other lists.

Issue: If the default account is changed in TeleMagic Internet Mail Server Settings, the new default account is not used when Send/Receive is selected or when mail is automatically checked.
Resolution: When the default account is changed, the new account is used.

Issue: When e-mail is printed from TeleMagic Internet Mail, the message is not printed correctly in all cases.
Resolution: The printing system has been changed to prevent this from occuring.

Issue: If a message was sent using TeleMagic Internet Mail and subsequently linked to a contact, it would be moved to the top of the list in the Sent folder.
Resolution: Messages in the Sent folder were being sorted according to the date they were last modified. Messages in this folder are now sorted according to the date they were sent.

Issue: When using TeleMagic Internet Mail to reply to or forward a message, header information about the original sender of the message was not included.
Resolution: Header information, such as To:, From:, and Subject:, is now included when a message is forwarded. When a message is replied to, the information is included if Include Original Message is selected in Options.

Issue: In Windows 98, the Unread Messages counter in the Search dialog box of TeleMagic Internet Mail would not stop counting under certain circumstances when using the Search for Text feature.
Resolution: The Unread Messages counter indicates the correct number of messages.

Issue: When using TeleMagic Internet Mail to print e-mail messages with many recipients, the entire list of recipients would not be printed.
Resolution: All recipients are now printed.

Issue: IDAPI Error: 10019 would occur under specific circumstances when moving new folders in TeleMagic Internet Mail.
Resolution: Folders can now be created and made subfolders as required without this error occuring.

Issue: Trying to forward a message after deleting the server from TeleMagic Internet Mail server settings would result in a List Index Out of Bounds error.
Resolution: Messages can be forwarded, but will not be sent until a server is set up.

Issue: TeleMagic Internet Mail would try to use the Internet e-mail address when replying to mail from internal users. This prevented users without external e-mail available from replying to mail from internal users.
Resolution: Users without external e-mail can now reply to messages from other internal users.

Issue: In messages created and sent using TeleMagic Internet Mail, BCC recipients were listed in Message Properties unless the message was sent using MAPI.
Resolution: BCC recipients are no longer listed in Message Properties.

Issue: With Create Activity selected in TeleMagic Internet Mail's Automation Server options, messages sent to a filter would result in activities being created, but not linked.
Resolution: Activities created as a result of messages being sent to a filter will be linked as appropriate.

Issue: When linking or sending messages using TeleMagic Internet Mail, the Current Contact and Filter controls were not available in some databases that had been upgraded from earlier versions of TeleMagic.
Resolution: Current Contact and Filter are available in all databases.

Issue: When sending a message to a filter using the Automation Server with Stamp Notepad selected in TeleMagic Internet Mail, Automation Server Options, the wrong record's notepad was being stamped. (The record following the parent record of the lower level record would be stamped.)
Resolution: The correct notepad is now stamped.

Issue: TeleMagic Internet Mail would indicate that mail had been received on dates that were clearly incorrect, 1899 for example.
Resolution: When messages were received that were composed on certain e-mail applications that used some international date formats, the dates would not be correctly interpreted. All date formats are now properly presented.

Issue: When using TeleMagic Internet Mail to forward messages that had been composed on certain e-mail applications, the header would list the From as the original sender instead of the person who had forwarded it. If the recipient replied to the mail, the original sender would be entered in the To: field.
Resolution: When replying to mail that has been forwarded, the To: field will indicate the forwarding party.

Issue: When receiving mail from applications that strip the originating address from the header, TeleMagic Internet Mail would place the receiver in the From: field.
Resolution: When mail is received that does not include From information in its header, this field will be left blank.

Issue: Under certain circumstances the Mail ID in TeleMagic Internet Mail would be reset, causing messages other than the one selected to be displayed.
Resolution: The Mail ID counter is compared to the number of messages present and adjusted as required.

Issue: When using TeleMagic Internet Mail to send linked mail, the activity that was being created was not being marked as completed or hidden.
Resolution: Activities created when linked e-mail is sent are now marked as completed and hidden.

Issue: If a dBase III import format is created using the Import feature and the source table is renamed, an Open Table Error results from trying to access the Field Assignments page.
Resolution: The Field Assignments page remains accessible after renaming the source table.

Issue: After using the Import feature to import a database during which records are rejected for failing to meet validation, Alias 'CONTACT1' Is Not Found error occurs when rebuilding the database.
Resolution: Import reject tables had been given the same name as DSS reject tables. Import reject tables are now named IMPREJ1, IMPREJ2, and IMPREJ3.

Issue: If a 3 level import format using the Import feature that performs calculations on level 3 is run, level 3 records could be assigned to the wrong parent under specific circumstances.
Resolution: All child records will be attached to the correct parent after import.

Issue: An error would occur if a temporary index was used for an SDF import and that index uses a field that is not matched to a field in the source database. This would result in a message that the temporary index could not be used and it should be changed. When attempting to change the import format, a Could Not Open File error would occur. The source file would remain locked, preventing the necessary changes from being made.
Resolution: The source file is unlocked when the import is complete, regardless of the status of the import.

Issue: Changes to records could be lost if one user was viewing a record while another user was editing the same record at the same time. If two users had the same record open in the Contact Manager, one made changes and saved the record, then the other made changes, the first user's changes would be lost.
Resolution: When a user goes into edit mode, the display is refreshed to reflect any changes made since the record was first opened.

Issue: If an import format with field validation is created using the Import feature, child records would be imported when their parents were not imported due to not meeting field validation. If calculations were performed, the results could be based on data from records that were to be rejected.
Resolution: If a record is not imported, any of its child records are also not imported. Calculations are not based on data from records that are to be rejected.

Issue: In the Contact Manager, if a field has a default value, the value is changed, and Tab is pressed or the record is saved, the value of the field reverts to the default. This only happens once per field when a record is first added.
Resolution: The field will retain the changed value after pressing Tab or saving the record.

Issue: Error 230: Array Dimensions are Invalid. This error might occur while using the Import feature to import 3 level dBase III databases if Field Assignment was selected, and the blank entry was chosen. This error would only occur if the import format was changed after having been created and saved. This could happen in other import format types if field fill expressions are used.
Resolution: The blank entry had been placed incorrectly. The error no longer occurs when the blank entry is chosen.

Issue: Significant delays were experienced in the Contact Manager when loading databases with large numbers of filters.
Resolution: The delays occured when TeleMagic was populating the Filters menu. This list will now be loaded with only 40 filters. The 40 filters listed includes "None-All Records", "Field Search", "More...", and 37 user-defined filters. The More... option is used to access additional filters.

Issue: Under certain circumstances, a fatal error would occur while using the Import feature. The error was associated with import formats that included an expression in the list of available source fields. When the expression was selected, or the ellipsis button was clicked to open the Expression Builder, the fatal error would occur.
Resolution: Existing expressions for field assignment can be modified in import formats. New expressions can be added to import formats that already have expressions.

Issue: When using TAPI with the Dialer while running under Windows 98 and using certain modems, TeleMagic would lock up and could only be closed by clicking the X button. This would result in a FoxPro General Protection Fault.
Resolution: TAPI can be used with Windows 98 and any of the modems related to this issue without locking up.

Issue: When printing word processing documents to a tagged filter, only the first record would be merged. This resulted in all copies of the document being produced for the same contact.
Resolution: Copies of the document are printed for each record in the filter.

Issue: After performing certain actions in TeleMagic, use of menus were apparently lost until TeleMagic was restarted.
Resolution: Menu response had not stopped, but had slowed considerably. Menu response is now instantaneous. Installing this update will also increase overall performance of TeleMagic.
